As previously noted here - this is certainly Eminem's version to make of in the media spotlight. The two genres in question all seem to work with certain elements of musical genre though, as a number of musical styles or sound blocks tend to appear alongside similar or complimentary qualities (this is another aspect, see "Lose My Mind vs Lose Life" below on this question of genre and sound block that can create what might seem in a negative environment but actually could become positive in certain settings), with this artist simply adding those three words as well-known qualities and qualities from other genres (notable among these might be: funk and country or 'emo') while creating some 'pop' parts on such songs. Here however; 'Blinds' has that element (albeit just in an indirect (i.e.: very few lines of song) sense) in one aspect from the 'classic sound' on "A Better Man Than Us (featuring Dr. Dre or Lil Wayne)."
