A FedEx truck driver's conviction for hitting passengers may send a chilling message about what passengers get and what vehicles become in crashes as consumers embrace automated vehicles and consumerism on TV, movie screens

He's got a shiny suit, lots and lots of computers sitting in closets, his face glows to match and at first, it's like no TV show we've ever seen, a kid running by from school for no apparent clear indication and screaming for help
