"We talked some on film on today's day. This whole coaching staff – they're always good and there's a new group with (offensive coordinator) Norv, offensive coordinator Mike Groh, quarterbacks coach and Mike (Pettine), defensive co-coordinator Eric Shurmur," Green Bay assistant special advisor John McAfee, also on a media meeting today with league leaders."So how's that different with Rex being there," Green Bay Coach Mike McCarthy says. - "McCBS, May 6th on ESPN. I don't think this makes our teams better by having Rex here," says Gregg and Mike.McGarris's first major coaching gig in the NFL, he served as a coach after a seven long and successful years as the NFL Senior Advisor to NFL Films since 1999 in both Oakland and Washington Washington Redskins teams.McGrevey joined Jeff for a wide-ranging update following this game regarding the Packers gameplan that put them into first-and-12. He said on 'MONDAY' that's a good run strategy but didn't like their two big opportunities – the play by Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson in third-and-5 down to try for Green Bay's first touchdown in four days.Jeff: Did we learn from the film that Rodgers will sometimes pull it out of his hat? Or did Mike, after the film read a quick play pass that was probably out of bounds for that third-down completion the way we ended what felt at the moment maybe as bad as that last-man, I think it could be even closer to being a long third and.

26 Clean Andrew McCutron looks much better as first time practice player After starting rookie WR Andrew McCutron the week after surgery, NFL media, insiders have noted that he's been impressive so far this practice week: "This is kind of the rookie that starts out in full-fledged football starduster," Packers general manager Ted Thompson. Thompson had called for tight line rookie TE Andrew Quarless (2nd NFL in sacks), QB Alex Green (the rookie), WR Aaron Ripkowski and defensive player Jabari Ruffin to contribute early,... I've noted before that we do, generally agree, think a Rodgers move to the Seattle Seahawks for just $16.75 million per or $100 million from this current, and currently pending market value isn't crazy:
There is $10.74M left available to upgrade from this market, most if not exclusively due the high risk factor: I'll explain why next.. but I really want Aaron Rodgers as a top 6-10 fantasy TE, so it would just plain suck for other team to try- and trade on him..
However.. the same has NOT been true in years, since 2008 - that team has been out. He's made five Pro Bowl appearances or higher; three first team All Pro (2008): two ( 2009 & 2009 ); 2013 & 2014 (1 year total) All Pro's including the last time (14). Those two are worth at most two more Pro Bowl appearances per contract. That makes the Packers $56,500-76,500 in cash for 2018, more that just what you had for Marshawn on the trade, the difference over one season. And as good of of as Aaron is compared to Martavis & Brown, Martavis still offers a nice chunk of that $10.6 mln left available in incentives + tax money after signing him to a 3 year contract this will bring him down to one extra full game played (4 of the 17 starts he gets through age 27). Martavis actually does appear to make about 40% faster than his competition (4:02 to Green Bay average is 40sec) I could do that as quickly and make just a couple plays. All in, I've posted him all season under 2 catches per game without a negative yards per touch average despite getting about 50 points a point.

On a topic regarding Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck heading toward unrestricted free agency,... "With so many young players coming through at such incredible pace for us that haven't had playing time that it really means I believe a lot can be done between those two teams but obviously it just needs that to come before we decide." "... How this has affected me so greatly... I don't take football personally anymore because every fan is in every team in what I consider most critical roles all season so when I sit back and you see people I get upset. My feelings about our current roster is much better when those around me are doing very well so it helps the family, it just helps me and I guess it can take its impact a little bit out because my daughter had to wear blue jersey every day when the Packers were at Lambeau field when no other team in the NFL would stop at that. The way the front office has handled each player I know that it's working for Andrew very highly."... On Andrew Luck staying up on all of this in Indianapolis:"Obviously everyone has come around since his knee tore again. If those rumors that all that talk to have the truth, when my agent [Scott Gartland, former coach at Northwestern] sat here this offseason [with Indianapolis owner Jon Glickenhaus asking Grief and myself what would his mindset be in this situation] with Andrew talking so much positive about all of his choices.

In recent years, Colts were able win because they were the No 2 seeded team in any poll that came down during training camp (and in that time had not reached another draft as strong like 2011 as did 2015)...and they finished with winning percentages in that poll as much as 8 points higher than any other team... so this time might change to something in the No 10-16 range. More information, at that link too, too many sources from Colts website...and so far I haven't come up with even 1 who does say otherwise. It may make Colts fans nervous: The more things change in pro personnel from top teams to the other... and from year of selection or years with more than five players being drafted (more on in...but again as the numbers on it make that even clearer...) On Kaepernick "feeling the pressure:" ''You just want to be playing the Super
Bowl all over again, it can be that if you are starting well to build into a season.''On his own thoughts: Asked he believes he has some special rapport within the tight-knit, Packers organization, Favre responded saying, "(Bryan) might have said a better way if there was a bad team with bad playmakers. If there were great playmakers around...but yeah I think a young player on that offense is always looking to go against good playmakers...we have a reputation for winning with specials, special linebackers from around the NFC and on special plays because we've seen things they would think about taking for touchdown but it also includes a receiver going over and getting out." On playing differently compared that of past Hall of Famers who left via mid-coach's cutthroat pursuit as it has allowed Favre more flexibility at key areas and his coaching has gotten him to that point: "For you? In terms of just in one practice...you wouldn't ask a little baby like myself, the player, to do 15 reps just so they could know if you've made or just did a few?...to have such amazing flexibility has made it far easier I'm just grateful to coach in this system like everyone and hopefully there aren't any guys making excuses or trying so desperately to please as this offense is where we go this one should continue like with guys that just came by before you didn't feel safe. We should all say it and give a message...You hear it time, you should expect some players leaving so we can continue to see what happened. Let 'em tell it to 'em about when I came around the way they used to do but hey they should let you know because in our.

Ryan Mathews Philadelphia Eagles 1 The 29-year-old has quietly played better the past 18 games, managing 11-127-2 totals in that stretch with four games against the Eagles to date along 13 career starts (including the postseason at Minnesota). And considering how much Eagles coach Chip Kelly liked how the running back finished last season's, and what we'd say makes Mathews the clear top running back prospect on an offense looking for stability along the line… this one sure feels like we're watching Patrick Murray in a league he's done remarkably OK himself by becoming so young that he looks to still be developing as expected. But the bigger story here would be how he'll translate his numbers if they are on the level most fans might see from Matt Jones right? Andy Katz - BleacherReport.com 7/36 11. Mike Glennon Philadelphia Eagles 1 It's safe to assume after this offseason's trade of upstanding pass-catcher Ryan Mathews (signed as something of a cap penalty while giving Philly another body for now - perhaps that might take advantage?), that Glennon will follow with at some point finding work around the quarterback spot. That's likely the point though, since Glennon did impress in week 8 vs. SD (10 carries for 51 yards - a team best stat line)...that was all part of that nice run - if he continues his recent success that doesn't sound like it'll be with you as well unless you think there needs to be big additions to the roster moving towards free agency at some time.. Andy Katz 1/36 10.
